EYE AREA LIFT

The skin around the eyes is extremely thin, poor in collagen fibers, and sebaceous glands. This area is the first to develop wrinkles because vivid facial expressions increase the likelihood of the loss of skin elasticity.

The skin which is less elastic is subject to the force of gravity, resulting in drooping upper eyelids and the lowering of the line of eyebrows, thus creating the impression of "sad" eyes.

Drooping upper eyelids frequently occur in young people. This is not caused by skin ageing but is due to a given facial type. A special method of administration of hyaluronic acid consisting in subcutaneous formation of an acid thread allows for overcoming the effect of drooping eyelids.

The acid application site is anesthetized using the Emla cream. The treatment is painless.

The effect of the treatment is visible immediately after performing it. Upper eyelids are lifted, eyebrows are nicely outlined, the outer eye area is raised gently. The effect achieved is one of "open" eyes.

Moreover, the application of hyaluronic acid is the stimulus for the production of collagen fibres and elastin in the skin. The tension, thickness and elasticity of the skin become improved in this area.
