INJECTION LIPOLYSIS

This treatment consists in removing the excessive fat cells from different parts of the body so that the silhouette becomes slender and more proportional. It is also extremely effective in removing the excess fatty tissue in the neck and face. The operation consists in injecting a drug, which is obtained from soybeans and which breaks down fat cells, into selected parts of the body and face. The fat contained in these cells is dissolved and then absorbed and removed. The remains of the fat cells are removed by macrophages and phagocyte cells, i.e. the mechanisms which continually purify our bodies of unwanted tissue. Since January 2010, the new Aqualyx preparation has become available in Poland; this is an innovative means to break down fat cells effectively.

Lipolysis yields excellent results in the removal of the so-called double chin and cheek fat as well as the slimming of the most difficult parts of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs and knees. The treatment is recommended for people with an average weight and the local excess of body fat which cannot be eliminated by means of a diet or gymnastics. One treatment removes about 1 - 2 cm thick fatty tissue; therefore the best results are achieved after a series of approximately 2-4 treatments in 6-week intervals.

After the treatment one may experience swelling and uncomfortable tenderness of the treated site but it disappears after a few days.

Thanks to its effectiveness and safety, lipolysis increasingly replaces liposuction. The treatment does not exclude the patient from everyday life and gives lasting results.
