FACE MODELING: SUBQ, VOLUMA

SubQ and Voluma, hyaluronic acid preparations characterized by their long-term effects, are used to model the face. They are applied in order to improve the facial features changed by skin ageing, sudden weight loss or exhausting lifestyle.

After the SubQ or Voluma treatment, the face has a younger look, nicely shaped cheeks, smoothed nasolabial furrows and an improved jaw line.

The procedure takes about 30 minutes; it is performed under local anesthesia and therefore virtually painless. The patient may return to their social and professional life immediately afterwards.

After the treatment, slight redness, swelling and mild pain may occur at the injection site but these symptoms usually disappear spontaneously within 2 or 3 days. For several hours after the procedure the patient should avoid excessive facial expressions as well as touching and massaging the injection sites.
